Women in our country are breaking all the shackles to become successful. One such inspirational person is Ms. Bachendri Pal. Scaling the formidable and ardours Mt. Everest needs steely determination! Exactly at 01:15 pm, on the 25th of May, she sumitted the tallest peak in the world thereby becoming a trail blazer to scores of women in our country and the world.
Not only this, she led a ferry expedition from Haridwar to Kolkata sailing on the Ganga.
The government of India awarded Padma Bhushan in 1984 and the Arjuna Award in 1986! Her gritty resolution made her write history with many ardent followers in the world! Born in a non-descript village in Uttarakashi she is an M.A and B.ed from the University of Dehradun.
She has proved that anything can be achieved in this world, if you are goal oriented and determined. Let more and more of our children follow Bachendri Pal as she's a trail blazer in her own right!
